Future Plans After High School:
I plan to attend UNC Asheville in the fall to double major in English and Psychology while minoring in art and obtaining a teaching licence.
List Schools Attended (K-12):
I attended Elon elementary until 5th grade and I then transferred to Wentworth elementary.
I then went to Rockingham middle and now Rockingham high.
Hobbies:
I love to hang out with friends and listen to music, but my absolute favorite thing to do is to be alone with my art. Whether that be my visual, music, or written art.

"Temptation"
I love this piece because of it is raw black and white pen and graphite. It is based off of a song by Chance the Rapper called "First World Problems" that makes me think of temptation and drifting from God as he grasps my hands to pull me back.
"Don't Just Watch"
This art date was based off of a website assignment that we all did in class where we picked a quote and crafted a sketchbook page that is based off of the quote. I found the quote and thought of myself and how I have felt most of my life.
"Genesis"
This was one of my first art dates ever! This past year I ran with my passion for Christ and I think this set the foundation for all of my projects thus far. I went from the beginning of the bible and I plan to get to the end by using the imagery found in the scripture.
Favorite memory or memories of your arts education
My favorite memory… is hard. I have been so wrapped up in this group of people since my sophomore year, and especially this past year. My favorite memories by far have been sophomore year when I was given the “slop hound” for spilling paint, like, a lot of paint - it was a true honor.
Favorite Artist, Artwork, Genre
My favorite artist is hard because I have never really studied artists until the last two years I have been in Mrs, Cross’ art class. I would have to say that my favorite artist is Vincent Van Gogh because of his use of texture and movement in color to express his story. I also love christian artist like Ivan Guaderrama because of her use of color and angelic figures.
Preferred Medium/Media
My favorite medium/media is definitely between oils, watercolor, and acrylic. I love to push my limits with them all.
